Your questions answered

  • Permanent jewelry are chains designed to be worn continuously, without being removed or taken off. Traditional jewelry usually includes a clasp that you can close and open to take off the jewelry. Permanent jewelry, however, does not have a clasp, rather the ends are welded together by heat. Unlike temporary jewelry, a permanent chain is meant to be a constant adornment. The chains are designed to be comfortable, lightweight and long lasting.

  • Permanent chains are easy to wear, and they don’t require a lot of maintenance. Because they are welded on and hard to remove, you don’t need to stress about losing them. The chains are also custom fit so you don’t have to worry about awkward sizing or them falling off. Because the chains are solid 14k gold, you can get them wet and they will not tarnish over time.

  • Permanent jewelry can be a symbol of love, a reminder of a special bond, a celebration of a milestone or an achievement or an expression of personal style.

These chains can serve as reminders of cherished memories, celebrations and connections, weaving a tapestry of experiences that you can carry with you wherever you go. For example, you can get a chain to treat yourself for passing a test or getting a promotion, two friends can get permanent bracelets to represent the strength of their bond or a couple might opt for permanent jewelry to symbolize their anniversary.

Although the chains can be symbols of many things, you don’t need a reason to get them, you can get them just because you want to.

  • Once our jeweler custom fits the chain of your choice to the size of your wrist, ankle or finger, they will weld (“zap”) a jump ring that connects both ends of the chain together using high heat. The process only takes a few minutes to complete.

  • We offer many accents such as gemstones, charms and diamonds to customize your chain.

  • You can cut the jump ring on the chain with a pair of scissors. We recommend that you save the chain in case you want to have our jeweler re-weld it in the future.

  • The welding process is completely painless. We use a welding machine that causes a small spark when we weld the chain together, but you will wear googles to protect your eyes and a leather cover to protect your skin.

  • We offer 14k solid yellow gold, however, we can provide gold-filled options upon request based on availability.
